  • Augustine “Gus” Davies has been a pastor at Northland, A Church Distributed in Winter Springs, Florida since 1998.
  • He is currently the discipleship pastor at Northland.
  • A decade before that he taught at African Bible College (ABC) where he met the parents of Chris Clark, Patricia and William Clark. Gus hosted Pat and Bill at ABC University Liberia when they went as Youth For Christ missionaries to refugees and university students.
  • Gus and his wife, Jeneba, soon after lived in Sierra Leone. When Chris and Debbie Clark went to Sierra Leone to help the children they saw in need, they worked with Gus and Jeneba to get started.
  • Gus connected with the Sierra Leone National Government, Jeneba walked the streets of Freetown to find a good location to house the homeless children they wanted to help, and they found the orphanage in Marjay town where COTN was launched.
  • It was in the only safe section of Freetown at the time. A few years later, as COTN continued under the Clarks’ leadership, Gus and Jeneba moved to Florida to pastor the church where they have been since. They were both on the original board of directors. Together with their children, Angie and Kathy, they have helped transform children and families across the world. After 27 years of ministry, the COTN board of directors and staff are thrilled to have Gus back on the board of directors.
